This is a cool thing, we (American Legion Riders from Post 297:small3d022:) were involved with this last year and our Assistant Director is the main organizer here in the states. The British riders had their ceremony and placed wreaths on the American site over there:small3d022:, and we placed wreaths and had a ceremony here.:small3d022:

The Royal British Legion, Riders Branch will be riding and having a ceremony at the Madingley American War Cemetery. The Texas ride will start on the West Side of Forth Worth @ The American Legion Post 297 (Benbrook, TX), with planned stop and meets in Arlington, Dallas, and outside of Terrell, to meet up with East Texas riders, The plan is to mass ride into Terrell. For those who don't know, there is a special area in Oakland Cemetary where the graves of 20 R.A.F. Airmen cadets are buried. :small3d022:There is also a Museum.

For more info and to register visit their website at The Ride - Texas for the Texas ride. Visit http://www.alliedride.org/index.php/uk-ride for the UK ride!

:57: My hat's off to all those involved in organizing this!!:hiiOn both sides of the Pond!!
