Alarm System

I'm not sure if this is the right section or not, but here is my question.
On the alam system I have changed the battery out on my FOB and everything went well. That was about 2 months ago. Now when I turn the bike on (2008 CVO Ultra) the alam comes on. I can turn it off and then back on and the bike strats right up. Could I have bought a bad battery or is there something else that could cause this? Kind of frustrating.

Have the new battery checked. How does alrm work with other fob?

If your new fob battery checks out good and your bike has the Harley factory alarm siren, check the internal alarm battery. It is contained inside the alarm, behind the ECM. It is a rechargeable battery but they do eventually die. If you don't have the HD siren, just flashing lights there is no battery.
