hi all, having left my bike for about 1 month i decided to give it a ride out today but the alarm didn't disarm when i got within range so when i tried to start the bike with the key in the alarm started ringing. i tried a few times to walk out of range then back to the bike to start it but the problem kept reoccurring. i thought maybe me battery in the the fob was dead so i got the spare for but the same thing happens with that. i dont really know much about bike alarms but i think it may be too much of a coincidence for both fob batteries to have died within the same month so i would like to ask for suggestions of what the problem may be.

thanks in advance for any help.

It's not the batteries in your FOBs because the person wanting to steal your bike will not have one and the alarm should sound. Like Hobbit said it sounds more like an issue with the antenna not able to pick up motion within range of the bike.
