air filters

I have installed Vance and Hines short shot exhaust and tuner on my 2007 fatboy. I am now trying to decide which high flow air cleaner would be best. Trying to decide between the big sucker with new base and air filter or just a replacement k & N. Anyone have any ideas which would be best.

Go with the big sucker, it has a bigger air filter.

The replacement K&N in the stock housing gives very little improvement. The BS or the HD stage 1 with the taller filter is the best for the buck.

Is the stock air cleaner cover no problem with the big sucker or should I change it also.
