Air filter question

I wanted to service my air cleaner and found (by identifying on the self help posts) that the filter is a K&N. I know how to service this filter but wonder if this provides better air flow, and when coupled with rush slip-ons, will I need to install a TFI. Thanks for all you do and know

That's the upgraded stage 1 filter from K&N HD-0800. It's a low restriction filter a bit over 2" tall and you should add some fuel when using it. The TFI is a good bet.

Adding big radius to my Rocker C after reading many posts I am also thinking of adding an air cleaner or change to a different filter. I want to try and save some cash so if i could just add a filter that would be awsome.
If not i was thinking of either going with the k&N RK-3910 or the SE stage 1
but i am not sure which part number i would need.
