    Hello Forum,

my air cleaner cover keeps balancing off while the engine is running...So when i get off is not inline, just like where I left it, so I have to straighten it myself every time. Is this normal? I am afraid that if I tighten the screw a lot the engine will blow it away from the vibrations..will this happen?

Can I do anything to stop this from happening?

    Thanks

Put a drop of blue locktite on the threads and tighten it according to specs.

    What is locktite?Glue?

If yes will this make it stick forever there?

Little known Cliff Claven factoid - Glue reacts (dries) to air, locktite reacts to the lack of air.

I like Anti Seize on my air cleaner bolt, it fills in the threads and I know I can get it off with ease and have never lost a cover:s
