I am going to assume you are referring to adjustable pushrods. If so, no. You only have to cut the orig. pushrods, remove, and then replace with the new adjustable rods.

I always thought you needed "Time Saver Adjustable Pushrods" to not have to remove your rocker boxes. Adjustable Pushrods will not adjust up far enough to install without removing your rocker boxes. The "Time Saver Adjustable Pushrods" have a longer thread shank to allow them to thread up short enough to fit without removing your rocker boxes.:newsmile030:
