adhesive on the air cleaner...

just a quick simple question...

how in the world did/do y'all get rid of strong adhesive residue left by the dummy stickers left on the bike... (I can't get it off my air filter cover..)

Thanks...

You can use WD40 but the trick is to soak it off not rub cause the chrome will scratch from rubbing. If you need something stronger, you can use thinners on chrome too. Some have used goo gone which you should be able to get in a hardware store.

Orange Citrus cleaner or this stuff called goo gone works good. Lighter fluid, brake cleaner, gumm cutter etc. BUT be very careful not to get this stuff on any other bike parts especially plastics.
