I know it is possible to go back to standard brakes from ABS type. Simply replace the brake lines. Leave the wheel sensors for spacers or replace with proper spacers and bearings.
My question is about the ABS light and ck. Eng. light when disconnecting the Electronic Controller from the system. Has anyone done this before.
A friends Modulator Assy. (approx. $375.00) seems to be bad. He has 0 pull on the front lever. Bike rolls fine, no stuck calipers. HD mechanic (friend) showed me one in the shop with same problem.
My buddy wants to go to standard type brakes.
