99 roadking efi no start

The data plug has no numbers on it so I can't tell which terminals are 1&2

If it is the bsm can I pull the hot wire off the battery for a length of time will that reset it?

Its a BAS
and disconnecting the pos terminal will do nothing,
If it does have a BAS its located off the rear of the wiring harness by the multi link connector, 2 wires
being 2 wires it would be easy to ck its operation if you had a quality multi meter

Ok I got a multi meter but I have no idea what a multi link connector is or what it looks like I'm not to familiar with EFI I sure miss the good old days where a carb was just fine!

the multi link is the plug that goes to your tail lights
take the seat off and it will be right there before the hole going into the rear fender.
the wiring for the BAS is enclosed by see attachment

Now this is if it does have a BAS and you can find were it is

Re thinking my earlier input think now a BAS is 3 wires

but do not have the manual or the bike in front of me so don't know

Ok you can do this 2 of any ways the first being the best

Remove the sensor connect the negative of your meter to the neg on the sensor

put meter on ohms

connect pos to either remaining terms just one

tilt sensor and see if the ohms change in the meter

or do it in the bike while servilely tilting your ride by arms

if you get a change of continuity on r and left tilt the sensor is good if not its garbage
