7 Day Road Trip to BC

Took a quick 7 day ride to BC. Rode up the Yellowhead Hwy with a detour to visit a cousin I'd never met in Elk Point, Alberta then on to Westlock, Alberta to visit with my oldest bro and his wife. Rode on through Jasper and headed south through Valemount, BC to Kamloops. Headed southeast to Vernon to visit an old friend I haven't seen in 31 years. Wasted a day riding back and forth to Kelowna for the huge car show. Way too many people there for my liking.

Rode down the Okanagon Valley to Osooyoos and west to Hope then north to Cache Creek. Rode the TransCanada Hwy back home. All in all a little over 5600 kms (about 3500 miles) with the longest stretch ridden on my last day. 1151 kms (715 miles) 13 1/2 hrs from Medicine Hat, Alberta to my home here in Lac du Bonnet, Manitoba.

A great wind therapy session.

It would have been nice to ride around for another week but the better half was getting anxious on me getting home. She worries about me when I ride alone and I ride alone almost all the time. If she was able to come along it would have been a longer and slower ride.
