I’m interested in what degree of temperature you come up with when you use a laser thermometer and put it on your sparkplugs after a 30 minute drive on a 90 degree day? I’m getting 320° on my 88ci FLSTNI 2005.

Spark plugs have a tough job, they have to seal compression, light the fire and transfer heat:s

A caution about laser thermometers are also usually very inaccurate. The real problem with them is that people use that little laser pointer as the very spot that they are taking the temperature. If you read about it, the actual spot of measurement is dependent upon the distance between object and device. The point of measurement becomes very large at distance. It can however give you a general idea and if you compare with the same device you can come up with a delta.
