30-60-30

Did the 30-60-30 engine break in on my 11 RG this AM. Not sure if it did any good because I didn't read about it untill I already had 31 miles on the motor. I hope it helped anyway. Finally put about 100miles on the bike today riding around in the Myrtle Beach Rally ,Man I Love this RoadGlide much better than my Ultra or RoadKing.

31 miles is not excessive and the 30-60-30 did what it was supposed to do seating the rings.

Should I drop the oil now wait till 500 miles or 1000 mile service? Still a bit confused on that point.

I usually drop the factory oil on a new bike when I get it home for synthetic oil and change it again at 100 miles, sure it's overkill most will say but that's the way I like to do it.

IMO you will be fine and congrats on the new bike, Like the BOSS I like to dump the oil quick and a couple times before the 1000 mile mark just my way of breaking in
