I did have the neg cable attached, The pos. cable is the one that arc ocurred I just have never seen a arc when conecting a battery cable unless there was something pulling juice. Who is MOCO and how do I get a number for them. Thanks for the help.

With a dead short like that I would be letting the dealer fix that and probably hint at a new battery just because , let your warranty work for you:s

You should take negative off first and put on last.

Hi.

I have experienced the same with mine. Had one trip to the dealership here in MS where it was my fault draining the battery. Had the security lock keys in my truck. Should had put them in the sidebags. The Dealership recharged it for me. After this I seem to experience the same issues as previously described here.

I think I should be ok that battery still is under warranty, and they will replace it for me.
