2011 Dyna Wide Glide tire fitment

I own a 2011 Dyna Wide Glide and I want to upgrade the back tire to a 200 series . can anyone tell me what the width of the stock rear rim is and if it will fit on this bike ? There appears to be plenty of room for the tire to fit between the swingarm and fender . also I'm considering new custom wheels with a 17x6.25 rear wheel .

With the custom wheel you are considering which is 2" wider you are probably going to need to modify motorcycle. As the above recommendation of gaining 1" in width with no modification necessary. I would wonder with a 2" wider wheel how it would effect handling????? There maybe a fat tire kit available for you Wide Glide... Searching the internet the kits can run as high as couple of grand. :shock

The 200 tire is 20mm wider. Do you have 10mm of extra space between your tire and drive belt?
