2011 CVO Softail Convertible question.

Just got back to the UK after visiting Florida to watch the launch of Atlantis.

Only just found out about this forum and hope someone can help with my query and apologies if this has been answered previously.

I have a 2011 CVO Softail with 110 cu.inch engine and UK spec. silencers (mufflers) including catalytic converters. Two problems, it doesn't really sound like a Harley with that lovely deep rumble and it gets very hot in traffic. Not so interested in volume but more in the tone of the exhaust.

It has been suggested that I should fit some different (slip-on) mufflers together with a 'fueler' to modify the ECU which should solve both problems. The suggested combination is some new mufflers from Rebus which have removable baffles and a Kitech 'PowerPro' fuel injection management unit. I already have the big inlet air filter.

Has anyone tried this combination and were they happy with the result?

Kitech are also bringing out an 'active' unit which will constantly update the ECU to cater for changes in altitude/temperature etc. Any thoughts?

Thanks,

Robin.
