Does any one know how much i can either raise the handle bars or what bars i can switch to with out replacing wiring, breaks or clutch cable? I would like to sit up straighter so the bars would need to be a little higher and pulled back a bit.

    Thanks

You can usually go up 1''-2" without any changes in wiring or cables.

Heritage bars work well but with your RK, you may have some trouble finding the bars with your throttle by wire setup.

Funny you would suggest that Glider. I always thought the Road King needed the Heritage bars on them. I love the way the Heritage bars feel and the way a RK rides.

They are a great off the shelf upgrade for the RK. If you go that route the chrome ones are hardly more than the stock ones.
