2009 Rear Cylinder Cut-out Feature

The system has worked well on my 09 Road Glide. I did learn though that it has to be reset each time you start the bike.
 
Mine has only "engaged" once. I think that i read if the engine temp reaches 278 deg F at idle it will engage. If it drops below that temp it automatically disengeges. It will also disengage if you roll on the throttle (of course). You must enable it each time you start the bike by rolling the throttle forward from the Idle position.
 
In hot FL, it has kicked in multiple times while waiting at traffic lights. Right before the light turns green, I twist the throttle a little to get the rear fired back up and off I go. Not a problem so far.
