2009 FL grip change

I recently changed mine and the clutch side is the same. The throttle side is actually much easier now. Loosen the switch housing, slide the grip off, slide the new grip on and tighten the switch housing back up. Just make sure you get a set of grips that are made for the TBW bikes with the teeth inside to grab the throttle and make sure that you don't force it on. Kuryakyn has good intructions on thier site. http://www.kuryakyn.com/documents/installation/6228-21HD-0608.pdf

Yep, it's incredibly easy. Only thing to be careful of is when retightening the clamps for the right grip. If the whole assembly is too far inboard when you tighten everything down, it can affect the ease with which the throttle turns. You could actually get some throttle binding. Too far outboard and you get a lot of left/right play in the throttle. I just moved mine inboard a couple fractions of an inch to get rid of the play and it's perfect now.
