I had searched all over for filler strips for my 08 Anniversary edition RG. Harley says they dont make them for RG. I posted here and Smitty advised me that the filler strip and sweeper with tri bar light from a SG would fit my RG. He even hooked me up with part numbers.
Turns out I ordered the parts for less than it would have cost me to get filler strips and antenna relo kit. Plus I get the added bonus of the sweeper with tri bar light. I paid a total of $235 for all parts which included the paint matched filler/sweeper, the tri bar light, the two support brackets and hardware, the fender fascia support, and the grommets. Everything I needed.
After some carefull placement runs, I installed the fascia support under emblem of rear fender (bolt aready there) and taped filler/sweeper into proper position. The I carefully marked the 6 holes that needed drilling (of course I had painters tape already on fender to prevent chipping and or slippage). After drilling the 6 holes (three on each side) i placed supports into holes from inside fender, attached fillers, and tightened. There is room for adjustment on fillers, so after fine tuning the placement, I was done. Looks Awesome! I love the way it came out, and I think it is one of the best "upgrades" I could do to give my ride the custom look and at very little cost!!! THANK YOU SMITTY!!!!!!!
