I just bought an 08 Road Glide leftover, 7k under list. Anniversary Edition. I totally love the bike! and 7k made it affordable so the wife was happy as well! You gotta do whats best for your situation!

I still say 2009. The 2010 models just did not do enough to make the big difference. (did not think they would with all the changes with the 09 model) Now that they are out, thre deals on the 09's are ripe. But then, if you want the latest model with the upgraded 5th gear, buy the 2010 as you get all the 09 offers and more! If I was in the market (thankfully I am not!) I would buy the 09 unless there was only a couple K difference, then I would opt for the 2010. If there was 3-4K diff, I would do the 09. I do not know what the diff is in price, do you? I have heard of 09 Ultra's going for 20K. :52:

For the long haul the 09 upgrades should provide more vlaue. But the 2010s are on are here so the 09 prices may drop

I have put 3600 miles on my 09 and it has been perfect. May want to look at the 2010.
