2008 1200L 105th Anniversary Edition

Hello. I want to replace the headlamp bulb on my bike and I'm looking for suggestions/options/recommendations to get the brightest bulb that I can get, but I don't want to cause any electrical issues. I just bought my bike last February. It only had 2500 miles on it. The bulb isn't burned out. I just want to feel more comfortable riding at night. My other option is to buy the small riding lights that I can mount on the engine guards.

Not sure if the Sporties take the standard H4 bulb or not but if it does. Here is a nice selection of different bulbs and wattage's..

It's an H4 55w for the '08 Sporty. Not sure what the watts rating is the the high-beam?

I wouldn't ask much more from the stock system to take on more load.

Add the LED riding lights.You will have more visibility day or night.Should help light the road at night.
