Let me shed some light on the injector issue. The injector recall was actually aimed towards early 2006 produced motorcycles experiencing idling issues in ambient temperatures of less than 65 degrees. During the model year all bikes were switched over to 25 degree injectors instead of the 8 degree.
Now there are injector specific downloads for the bikes. If your bike is bone stock besides the injector swap the dealer can go ahead and reflash the ECM to insure it has the correct download free of charge. It costs nothing to the dealer for a stock download.
Also a large quantity of bad ECM's with 2006 model year bikes.
