2004 fatboy speedo n tach not working

Hey there, can anyone advise me on why my speedo n tach have stopped workin? all other electrics are fine,turn signals work and cancel,lights etc and ignition all ok.. rides with no problems just have no speedo or registering miles.. any advice would be awesome, ive checked connections and all seem fine so im assumin its somethin to do with the sensor into the engine?? cheers guys n gals.. If it was the VSS on the trans, your signals would not self cancel. Have you lifted the console off and checked the connections?

Hey there, have checked all connections and turn signals self cancel too.. Checked vss in trans and cleaned but all looked fine.. Any further advice would be greatly appreciated,im coming to the conclusion it could be the speedo/tacho thats knackered??!!
