27170-89 is a #45 jet, you may want to try a #46 in there. Hopefully they didn't drill the slide.

Se heavy breather , most of the ham can ones dont allow motor to breath just my 2 cents

Element area of the SE Ham Can aircleaner is not the problem, it is the housing, and "soft HD OEM element within" that with age collapses and distorts. If you modify cover and cutwawy the cover a bit, replace element with K&N one and your good. Certainly less expensive if you have the SE A/C already and that element will flow plenty of air.
