So far as I know there's nothing special about '03. If you can find anything 20 years old or less that hasn't been beet up real bad, you'll have your dream bike. Good luck with that,it shouldn't be too hard.

I bought a '03 883R and I've seen it listed in a ton of books. It's a shame that I've been using it as a daily rider for the past few years and racked the miles up on it. It's in great shape otherwise, but I've seen it in tons of Harley and motorcycle books as being unique.

There's really nothing special other than the dual front discs and the special exhaust.

I get a lot of compliments on it.
