2002 FLHRI Has my mechanic stumped!

Thanks for the link. Good reading. The thing that has me puzzled is that it seems to only do it when it's cold or cool and not up to operating temp. I rode the thing from Arkansas to Las Vegas and back in '09 then to Phoenix and back and back in '10 and never a hiccup. It is also so intermittent that it's really hard to pin it down exactly. It has never thrown a code.
 
My two cents, i had a similar problem with my 2001 RK drove me nuts for months, it turned out to be a broken wire to the throttle possition sensor right where it enters the connector.
 
I know that you mentioned tech checked injector wires, i had similar problem same year and model same symptoms injector wires looked good but wen pulling on them i found tat one stretched. casing looked good but wire had broke inside. just a thought
