1999 883, no speedometer

Wife was riding along, and lost speedometer, and odometer. I did the ignition check, and wiring check, but am use to the cable drive of the older sports. All my codes come up CLR, and all the other electrical issues seem to be fine. Ive looked at other posts, and didnt seem to find one that relates to this situation. Bike runs great, 23000 miles.:sd

I looked there, nothings seems to be in the order of my issue, I went to local Harley "dealer" and he couldnt even find it in the book, the only bikes that had sensors were international? Where in the heck is the sensor located? I see 2 wires coming out of the primary, but nothing of ease to find?

I've got Sportster parts catalogs for 1998 and 2003. Both catalogs show the speed sensor on the speedometer pages. The part number is the same on all the pages: 74402-95. The replacement is noticeably different (Perhaps improved to deal with the rpoblems associated with the first design?).
