1998 Road King Turn Signal Problem

left turn indicator works intermittently. lamps and fuses are OK. any suggestions on what i should test next?

Also check/replace the bulb and check the connections inside the socket.

Does the run light go out too or just the directional? If the run goes out, check the ground for the light.
