1997 Road King Ignition Switch / runs rough

My 1997 Road King started runing rough yesterday, check engine light came on and the bike started running real rich, black smoke too! stoopped and toped off the fuel tank, retarted the bike, ran fine, next rest stop after restarting the bike back to running rough. I am wondering if the issue is in the ignition switch, due to the bike being fuel injected. Any ideas?

If not, it could be contaminated fuel or any of the sensors that give the info to the ECM. What codes were displayed?

Check engine light was not flashing, I fueled 3 different times, 3 different places, Why i steered away from fuel contamination. How much of a tear down is it to clean those air bleeds?

Just remove the air cleaner or cover, don't know what setup you have on your bike and use some carb cleaner to clean them.
