1994 electra glide speedo

I may be an idiot but can anybody tell me how to re-set the trip speedo on my bike ???? where is the knob/switch ????

A knob on the face of the dash

From looking at the 94 parts list it should be on the left side of the dash and should be a rotating knob some of these depending on which model you have is held in with a tiny screw in the centre of the knob that can vibrate free fall out and the knob then goes missing i have lost 2 from my sportster and 1 from my softail
