1992 help!

Thanks Gentlemen,
I am using this long weekend for me to look at my Carb!!!!!
Tanks is working great and filter is approx 1.5 years old so about 1800 mi.
I know thats not too many miles.
No back fire.....just hicupping and not pulling much past 75-80 mph.
It does feel a bit lean to me on the top, The bike was owned prior to me by another gentlemen who lived in my state so I just assumed should be jetted OK since he had the bike 10 years.
I'll let you know!

High speed miss can also be caused by bad ignition coil/wiring breakdown, so after you have done your due diligence on the fueling, do all the NO/LOW COST things: inspect all those electrical connections and wiring...(also use a DMM for electrical resistance) any corrosion...clean with contact cleaner, mating and breaking the connections buffing them, and use dielectric grease $6 at H-D to preserve and prevent corrosion. THEN look into that ignition coil ($135).

when i first bought my 96 flstc used it had 19k on it did the same thing i found it to be the accelerator pump had pin holes in it changed pump diafram ran good after that
