Most any fender even up to the later models will fit. The main differences are different mounting holes in the fender like for the speedo cable and fender tip wiring etc and the trim on the fender, but the fenders themselves as far as mounting points and shapes are pretty much the same.
You may get lucky and find the color you are looking for in good shape. I've done this and just installed it on an older bike the year of yours that came off an 03 bike.Worked out very well.
