1987XLH Turn Signals

Just noticed on the better half's scooter that only one side blinks. All of the bulbs are good. Left side is fine. Right side just lights up, both front and back, and never flashes. The drawing shows the flasher common to both sides. Any suggestions? Shop is closed at this time so I can't get another flasher until tomorrow.

My wifes '87 XLH flasher went bad. I replaced it with one from the auto parts store.

Just any two-prong flasher?

Yes. I remember taking the old one with me, and matching up for size. Cheap, too. There may be electrical differences between flashers, but it was long ago and I can't remember. Google 12v flashers and see what spec. differences you see. If you go to a NAPA store, they may have a knowledgeable person, other big chains, not so likely.
