1980 Sportster questions

I have a 1980 AMF 1000 cc Sportster I bought in 1981. I had a chop shop in south Florida do some horse power work on the motor. This is where the problems began. I moved to the St Pete area and the Harley shop there did a fix that didn't last long.

Problem the flywheel was too large and placed the lower compression ring level with the oil holes in the jug which aloud compression to go into the crankcase blowing the crankcase oil out.

St Pete Harley's fix for this was to weld the stock oil holes up in the jug drill new ones lower and install a 1/8 inch plate under the jugs.

One of the holes that was welded up blew out and the compression was back in the crankcase. That was 1987 and I never fixed it.

I now what to fix it but need some expert advice

Question

Can anyone tell by the flywheel numbers what the stroke is of that flywheel and is there a set of jugs I can buy to bolt on the 1980 sportster casing instead of using the plate and welding up and lowering the oil holes in the stock jugs.
