1972 ironhead rear chain oiler

I could use some help locating the rear chain oiler. I can see the hose and follow it back to the fitting but it does not have the lock nut and adjustment like my manuals shows. Right now it just dumps out oil and I want to get the adjustment right. I have read a few post that say to block it off. How do I accomplish this?...just put a bolt in there? How long was the bolt you used? If i put one in there can I run into any moving parts? I need help lol !!!!!

Being an old pack rat I dug out the one I removed in 1980 from my 75 XLH

The bolt that goes into the block is a 10-32, 1/2" long

When I completly removed the oiler I had to remove the cam cover to get to the end that screws into the case to the inside of the shifter shaft. There is a good picture of the line in the Gear Box section of my manual. I pluged that with a 1/8 x 27, 3/4" long brass pipe thread plug

Thanks for the help that worked just fine. I put some thread sealer around it just for good measure, and not a drop!
