17 years riding, first HD

The wife finally signed off on getting another motorcycle and this time, I had to find out what all the fuss was about with HD bikes. I've owned my 99 Road King Classic for 3 months and have loved every minute of it. Unfortunately, on my way to the dentist two weeks ago, it died suddenly...double bad. Actually it was a good chance to get to know my bike. I thought I might start a dialogue in case the cause has me stumped. This forum has already offered some really helpful advice and motivates me to keep tracking this problem.
 
Once you own a Harley it's hard to think about owning anything else. Hope you work the bugs out and don't hesitate asking, lot's of great minds here on the forum.
