Whats the difference in 20w50 and 15w50 ? I can find fully synthetic 15w50 many places but am having trouble finding 20w50. Thanks for your help.
 
The 15/50 is a car (water cooled) oil and doesn't have the additive package that the air cooled ( V Twin) oils have.
 
Thanks for the info . I researched this and could not find that information. Again thanks guys . I'm new around here and really like the site.
 
Anything will work but an oil specifically made for air cooled engines will give the best protection.

Check out Auto Zone. They have the
M1 V-Twin there for $9.50. You gotta have an Auto Zone there in Alabama!:bigsmiley10:
 
They can usually get it for you in 2 days if it isn't a stock item being it's available in their other stores.
 
Any AutoZone carries the Mobil 1 V-Twin. It is usually next to the automobile oils, not on the same shelf....
