On a 2001 fatboy with single front disc is it possible{ this includes wise and safe } to use an 11/16" master cylinder in place of the 9/16" stock master cylinder? THANK YOU!
It will work but the lever pull will not be what it is supposed to be. You'll end up with a sensitive brake more than the 9/16" bore. It's moving more fluid than the 9/16 piston does. Check the fitting size too.
9/16" bore is for later front single caliper 84 up
11/16" bore for later dual disc dressers like FLHR
