I have a 09 Streetglide. Just bought a 103 kit. My question is.....the kit came with a head pipe (supposed SE), looking at the pipe, I see no difference. I called the local HD parts guys and they said they THINK the Cat. Conv. is in the new headpipe, but the old system has the Cat. Conv. in the mufflers. Another one said the head pipes are the same, they just sent this one becouse pre 07, the head pipe only had one Oxg. senser. So I called the tech guys, and they said if the diameter is the same, there's no dif.. If this is the case, why include it in the kit?

Which one, if any, are correct? ANybody able to help on this???

I didn't see anything in the pipes. Can you think of any other reason they would include this in the kit?

Double check but the new pipe is probably a cat and the stock one isn't.

If the new one is a cat, and the old ones not, isn't it better to use the old one (less restriction)?
