10% ethenol gas

We counted it as part of our "Sturgis Experience". It didn't make the top of the list, but it really wasn't that bad. Becky wasn't too excited about her first time at the controls of a bike bigger than her 1200 Sportster. All's well that ends well.

I don't know about the area you live in but there are only a couple of refineries supplying fuel to all the stations in the Los Angeles area. So the fuel is the same no matter where you buy it. The only difference is the additives that are put with the gas.:s

Ethanol is fine if you have a fuel injected bike, i never noticed it being a problem on my old ride, my GF's bike was carburated, and wasnt ridden that much. and when texas switched to 10% ehtanol i had alot of probs with the carb gumming up.

from what i have read ethanol doesnt hurt the engine but can play havoc with hoses and fittings, not to mention carbs.....
