Ok, not a lot of information regarding the event just yet, just wanted to let everyone know we have a date of December 3, 3011 for the 10th Annual Christmas Dream Machine toy run so if you're interested in attending you can mark it on your calenders early.
The Christmas Dream Machine serve our immediate area and anticipates helping in excess of 1,000 Children this year.
Each year we seem to grow and hope to host in excess of 1,000 bikers this year.
There is always a live band, free food, raffles, 50/50 and more.
There is no cost to enter, we request only a new, unwrapped toy or cash donation per rider (no set limit).
All proceeds go directly to the Christmas Dream Machine, a 501C-3 Charity. No one organizing this event to benefit the Dream Machine or affilitated with the Dream Machine takes any salary or compensation, all time is donated for an excellant cause.
I'll be updating with more pertinent information as the plans come together. Ya'll come.

Sounds like a great event for a great cause - wishing it a huge success & doesn't hurt to get the advertising effort underway early because it feels like we were just blowing off fireworks for our independence.

I've got to move a tad South so we can participate in some of these winter events...:(

Ok, so here's the update on this year's Dream Machine Toy run in Lake City, Fl.
Registration will begin at 10:00am at Rountree Moore Toyota with kickstands up at 12:00 noon. The escorted ride will be approximately 30minutes in duration.
We have invited over 30 Veteran's organizations to attend and take part in the ride and as part of the Ride, since the following Wednesday, Dec. 7, is Pearl Harbor Day we will take a moment to recognize our Veterans and the sacrifices they've made.
The route we are taking will take us in front of the Lake City VA Hospital and we have contacted them to invite them to let their Veterans, staff and volunteers know we are also paying tribute to the Veterans to allow them to come out and cheer us on.
After the toy drop off at the Lake City Mall everyone is invited to join us at the Columbia County Fair Grounds for live band, food, 50/50 drawings, raffles, auctions and more, all to benefit the Christmas Dream Machine.
There is no direct fee to ride, we ask only for a new unwrapped toy, non-perishable food item or a cash donation to be determined by the individual participant.
For those who are able we would love to have ya come out in support.
Thanks, Bill
