08 XL883 Is slow to start! HELP!

So, I hopped on my 08 XL883 after class last night, and when I went to start it, I had a scary experience. It was hesitant to start. Ya know when its cold outside and you go to start your car and it cranks for a while before it starts? That's what my sporty did tonight. But it wasn't cold. It was 70 degrees outside. What causes this? I'm kinda worried. The bike has just over 2,000 miles on it. It cranked for a good 4 to 5 seconds before it turned over and fired up.

Also, maybe I'm just paranoid because of what happened, but it sounds like it's idling faster now too.

It happens from time to time. Could even be a bad tank of fuel.

My '07 Nightster and both of my son's Buell's do this as well if we get in a hurry and hit the starter button before the fuel pump light goes out. Does not happen every time, but causes concern when it does happen.
