    im wondering if the rear axle torques?

    Mike, welcome to the HDTalking forum and your first post. While I do not have the torque spec for the axle nut, and others will weigh in shortly, there are plenty of tips in the self help section. Here are some General Torque specs...:D

    I am sure you already guessed that there is a Critical Fasteners check list in the HD owners manual referring to the HD Service Manual, MSRP $65, while a bit expensive, it will pay for itself the first time you use it. Generally speaking, service on your bike averages $200-$300 at the dealer; so even routine maintenance like LOF or simple accessory mods will put you way ahead of the game.:s

    Tighten axle nut (2) to 95-105 ft-lbs (128.8-142.4 Nm).
