I was just looking at a picture I took today of my brothers and mine bikes and noticed that on his bike (89 flhtc) the cooling fins on the bottom of the cylinders are longer. The width of the cylinder from top to bottom is the same compared to my bike (08 flhx) on wich the cylinders are tapered (wider at top). I guess it's just me but you'd think with longer fins it would help to bring the temps. down.
