OK...this is going to sound stupid, but then again I heard that no question is stupid..
I cleaned up pan and the trans...let it sit overnight.. put a thin coat of Hylomar on pan only... all was going fine until I discovered that some oil was still dripping off trans interior in about a 1 inch area... I am assuming no big deal...continued the torque sequence with 242 thread locker...Done
My question is.. if this bit of oil between gasket and trans prior to torquing is going to be a leak issue... I would just as soon re-do it rather than get the engine in and then discover a leak at break in.
