Some of you may have seen my previous posts on my front end problem. The problem I've been having is bottoming out really bad when hitting bumps. So, I decided to put some chrome lowers on and a set of Race Tech fork springs. When I dumped the oil out of the forks and pulled the spring out, the damper valve item number 7 fell out after the spring, but in the photo below, the manual shows the damper valve should be on top of the spring. So, now I'm very confused. It makes sense that it would be on the bottom because it would be in the oil, but the manual shows that it should be on the top. Does anyone know which is the right location? I want to follow the manual, but I just want to make sure I'm doing it correctly!
