04 FXST problem

I changed one of my throttle cables on my 04 FXST, then the bike ran like it was getting flooded? How can I fix this?

Check to make sure throttle plate closes completley if not you did something wrong with the change. Is your idle rpm higher than previous?

Yes it closes all the way. The idle was the same, maybe a little higher. I have 50,000 miles on the bike. I noticed gas coming out of the vacuum line that goes to my hypercharger from the carb, after I shut the bike down. Thanks for the help.
