I was cleaning my bike today, after doing so, I started it up and was letting it idle. As I gave it a little throttle, their was a pop then the bike died. It now has no power. I checked all the fuses. I'm fairly new at working on my own bike and am quite unsure of the problem. Any body have any idea what could be the issue and how to go out fixing it?

Welcome to The Forum, What do you mean by NO power? Does it turn over but not start? Is the run switch on? Try a blow dryer on low setting around the switches Check the connections at the battery clean and tight, check charge of battery

I checked the fuses, none had popped. I don't have a meter to check them with however.

check the wires at the coil, the fxst coil is not in a good place in the first place. let alone hitting it with a hose.
