04 fatboy exhaust

Hi All, I'm getting ready to install a 2 into 1 pipe on the bike. I have the service manual and it looks fairly easy. Are there any problems to look for or tricks that might help? The pipe is a kerker. Thanks for any info.

buck484; also recommend you lay down some type of soft protection on the floor below your bike (i.e. beach towel, cardboard or blanket) in case you drop the new pipes - will prevent dings & scratches on them. Believe me - I dented my new exhaust a few years back b/c they dropped out of the cylinder when I was aligning brackets. :newsmile03:

Also, make sure you have new exhaust gaskets, if they didn't come w/pipes, and torque specks for your bolts (header & mounting). Should be fun & easy UG for your FB...enjoy!

Thanks Iceman for the tip. I didn't think about that and you can bet that Murphy's law would be in effect. Thanks again
